Gabriel Parra
Gabriel is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). His area of focus is the intersection of technology, society, and governments. Before HKS, Gabriel worked for 7 years at Google, where he provided digital transformation consultancy to Google’s largest customers in Latin America and partnered with tech companies to build scalable digital marketing solutions for small and medium enterprises. At Google, Gabriel also developed the go-to-market strategy for digital advertising sales teams in Colombia, Central America, the Caribbean, and sub-Saharan Africa.
Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Tulane University, where he graduated with Cum Laude honors, and a bachelor’s degree in Management from Universidad de Los Andes. Gabriel is the co-chair of the Colombian Caucus at HKS and School Representative at the Harvard Colombian Student Society.
In his free time, Gabriel is a passionate traveler who has visited 53 countries in 6 continents, a soccer fan who enjoys competing at the amateur level, and a cycling enthusiast who believes bicycles are the best vehicle to discover new places.
